1. Overview
Native Scripts ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This Policy describes the limited information we handle when you visit our store and how it is used. Most data collection happens through our payment processor, Tebex, which is an independent controller of payment-related data.
2. Information We Handle
The Store itself does not run a backend database. The data that flows through our pages is the minimum required to render packages and process baskets:
- Cfx.re identity: when you sign in, your Cfx.re username is associated with a Tebex basket. We see only the username — never your password.
- Discord identity: when you click "Verify Membership" on a free package, we receive your Discord user ID, username, and a list of servers you are a member of, solely to verify membership in the Native Scripts Discord server. This data is used in-memory only and is not stored on our servers. A 7-day verification flag is kept in your browser's localStorage so you do not need to re-verify on every visit.
- Basket state: a Tebex basket identifier is stored in your browser's localStorage to remember your cart between visits. It is not sent anywhere we control.
- Currency preference: the currency you pick is stored locally in your browser.
- Payment data: handled entirely by Tebex. We never see card numbers, billing addresses, or transaction details.
3. Cookies & Local Storage
Strictly necessary. We use browser localStorage for your basket identifier, signed-in username and currency preference, plus a single cookie (ns_consent) recording your answer to the notice below. These are required for the store to work and are set regardless of your choice. The consent cookie is scoped to .nativescripts.com so one answer covers this store, the other store and the main site.
Analytics — only with your consent. If you accept, Google Analytics 4 sets its own cookies (_ga and _ga_*) to count visits and see which pages are used. Until you accept, analytics storage is disabled through Google's Consent Mode: nothing is written to your device and measurement is limited to anonymous, cookieless signals. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set at all. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not enable Google Signals or ad personalisation, and we never sell your data.
Changing your mind. Delete the ns_consent cookie (or clear site data) and the notice will appear again on your next visit.
Tebex may set its own cookies during the checkout flow, governed by its privacy policy. Product preview videos are embedded using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which does not set cookies unless you actually play a video.
4. Third-Party Services
- Tebex — payment processing, basket and license management.
- Cfx.re — authentication.
- Discord — OAuth-based server membership verification for free packages, governed by Discord's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare / hosting provider — serves static assets; may log standard request metadata (IP, user agent) for security.
- Google Analytics 4 — consent-gated audience measurement, governed by Google's privacy policy. Loaded only after you accept; IP addresses are handled by Google and are not exposed to us.
- YouTube — privacy-enhanced video embeds (youtube-nocookie.com) for product previews, governed by Google's privacy policy.
5. Children
The Store is not directed at children under 13. If you are under the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, do not make purchases without permission from a parent or guardian.
6. Your Rights
Because we do not store personal data on our own servers, requests to access, correct, or delete your data should be directed to Tebex (for payment / license records) or Cfx.re (for account data). You can clear your browser's localStorage at any time to remove the local basket and preferences, and you can withdraw analytics consent by deleting the ns_consent cookie.
7. Data Retention
Local data persists in your browser until you clear it. Order and license data is retained by Tebex per its retention policy.
8. Changes
We may update this Policy. The date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through our Discord server or a notice on the homepage.
